Polydactyl Maine Coons

Maine Coon Cats are sometimes born with extra toes, called Polydactyl. They can be poly on front only or front and back feet. The paws can be a patty foot (wider than a normal paw due to extra toe) or a mitten foot (looks like they are wearing a mitten). It is a chromosomal abnormality however, it causes no issues and is a sought after trait. They are sometimes referred to as a Hemingway cat, after Earnest Hemingway.
